HPA-CfI - Robert Owen
Dr Robert Owen is a Clinial scientist and Head, Diagnostic and Specialist Identification Unit, at HPA Centre for Infections, London. He has wide experience in identification and molecular characterisation of campylobacters and related organisms, antibiotic resistance methodologies and their use in surveillance, microbial population genetics, and microbial preservation and archiving (previously Curator of the National Collection of Type Cultures).
Robert was a member of both the Executive committee and the microbiology group for the first IID study.
