Kathryn Jackson is the project manager for the IID2 study and brings to this role a wide variety of experience across the range from bench microbiology through research and development to senior technical management and business development.
Following many years working within the NHS, she moved into private industry in 1998 joining Kratos Analytical/Shimadzu Biotech as a MALDI mass spectrometry application specialist prior to joining Claydon Bioinformatics as Programme manager in January 2005.
She has been research active in the field of microbiology for the past 10 years, including the identification of Clostridium difficile using MALDI Mass Spectrometry.
