Gut Feelings is part of the IID2 Study (the Second Study of Infectious Intestinal Disease in the community) which takes place in general practices across the UK.
We are undertaking this national study about infectious intestinal disease, also known as diarrhoea and vomiting (D&V), gastroenteritis, food poisoning or gastric ‘flu. We want to find out exactly how many people have IID during a year, how many people go to their doctor when they have symptoms and what germs are causing the symptoms.
