Gut Feelings

Gut Feelings is part of the IID2 Study (the Second Study of Infectious Intestinal Disease in the community) which took place in general practices across the UK.

This was a national study about infectious intestinal disease, also known as diarrhoea and vomiting (D&V), gastroenteritis, food poisoning or gastric flu. We wanted to find out exactly how many people have IID during a year, how many people go to their doctor when they have symptoms and what germs are causing the symptoms.
